Course Description:
A resume is one of the most effective tools you can have in your toolbox when searching for a job.
This course will teach you the purpose of resumes, various formats and when each is effective, design elements, and what to include on a resume. We’ll pull it all together at the end and show an example of how a final resume might look.

By the end of this course, participants will:
- Understand the purpose of a resume and what to include on their resume
- Understand the difference between chronological, functional and combination resumes; the benefits and drawbacks of each; and how to adapt their experience to a chosen format
- Learn how to address issues related to gaps on their resume or several short-term jobs
